Drew Giles is an author, educator and advocate for early childhood education. In 2014, Drew collaborated with Dr. Jean Feldman as they co-authored the ebook,Teacher Survival Guide: What They Didn’t Teach You in College, to assist educators with proven powerful tips, tricks and strategies to help any early childhood educator.
As a 2012 Colorado Teacher of the Year finalist, Drew has demonstrated to be a resourceful and talented teacher.
As a public speaker, he has been able to share his positive message about the importance of play, family involvement, effective teaching, and FUN! Drew has taught ECE and Kindergarten in a variety of settings, including low-income, affluent and even in a private preschool in South Korea for the majority of the last decade.
Drew is currently works in Oakland Unified School District's Early Childhood Education department as the Director of Quality Enhancement and Professional Development.
He is honored to speak up for kids and be their voice to ensure that their social/emotional and academic needs are being met.
